Boston Ballet’s Fall Program

Posted October 23, 2012 by Alaina Racioppi in Downtown Boston

The Boston Ballet opens the 2012-2013 season with a mixed-contemporary program; a trio of high-energy ballets from three visionary choreographers to kick off the exciting season ahead.

The Fall Program welcomes the world premiere of Resident Choreographer Jorma Elo’s, Awake Only, a captivating journey of life and discovering oneself. The performance also includes two cutting-edge favorites; William Forsythe’s The Second Detail, an edgy, avant-garde ensemble of 14 dancers and Christopher Bruce’s feel-good, Rooster, a vivacious piece set to music by The Rolling Stones. Boston Ballet’s Fall Program runs October 25th through November 4th at the Boston Opera House.
