Go ahead and find your wallet. You’ll need it because you’re about to book tickets to the next big show in Boston. Just make sure to also hide it after your tickets are confirmed or else the performers might have a hand in making it disappear.

The Illusionists – Live from Broadway, a stunning showcase of illusion, mind reading, and escape, is arriving in Boston this April and the new, live exhibition is gaining quite a lot of attention. Made up of some of the most talented entertainers in the world, its program features eight individual acts of magicians and daredevils alike who have brought audiences around the country to the edge of their seats since 2014.

The wild presentation is structured similar to a Las Vegas-style event and has a playful variety of characters to round out its bill. There are acts from cast members such as “The Deductionist”, an engaging master mentalist who combines ‘brain science’ with thought reading to exhibit a cognitive skill few others have ever possessed. Then there’s a harrowing performance by “The Weapons Master” that involves some of the most inconceivable achievements in cross bow stunts. The revue also stages sets by other well-curated troupers “The Inventor”, “The Trickster”, and “The Escapologist.”

Creators of this Broadway show have demonstrated a dedication to the craft by designing a truly captivating experience and providing ticket holders with an expert collection of illusionists, unlike any other seen before. The stars of the show have appeared on stage and screen around the globe for institutions like The World Championships of Magic, giving viewers the understanding that they’re witnessing proven talent. The cast also hail from such different parts of the world map as Italy and South Korea. It’s evident that those in control of production searched far and wide for only the greatest visual artists.

Opening night for The Illusionists – Live from Broadway at the historic Boston Opera House is set for April 4th. The show will run through to April 9th, with showtimes occurring throughout the week and into the weekend. Tickets are still available for most shows, but don’t wait too long to buy your admission or they just may vanish before your eyes.

The Boston Opera House is a renowned luxury theater located in Boston’s Theater District, bordering the edge of the Downtown Crossing neighborhood. Built in 1928, the building boasts influential European-style architecture and once operated as a first-run picture house and a venue for vaudeville acts, but now presents distinguished, touring Broadway productions. New, local owners of the Opera House have recently made important renovations such as an expanded orchestra pit making visitor experience all the more rewarding.
