Bringing The Real Issue to Light

One of the hottest current issues in the city having to do with Downtown surrounds the development of a new tower on the old Winthrop Square garage site by Millennium Boston. It’s a choice between a few minutes of sunlight versus quite a few million dollars of city coffer surplus. Here at the Voice, we like the surplus funds. So does the Boston Globe’s Adrian Walker, who did a great job in his Sunday column of moving the most important issues in the debate out of the shadows. Read his take here.
