Here at the Voice, we take notice when Downtown Boston gets noticed.  And look who’s noticing now…none other than the venerable TV newsmagazine Chronicle. The channel 5 program has been a Boston viewing staple for more than 30 years, producing award winning stories on varying topics of interest to New Englanders.

Chronicle recently turned its lens to what’s been happening Downtown, outlining: the resurgence of Downtown Crossing as embodied by the construction of Millennium Place and Millennium Tower Boston; the resurrection of the Theatre District, including the contributions of Emerson and Suffolk Colleges; and the rebirth of the Opera House. For those that had yet to realize how drastically these areas have transformed, this Chronicle feature is a high-profile spotlight on all the high-end changes. Check it out.
