It’s official. The Boston Redevelopment Authority has chosen Millennium Partners, developers of the ultra luxurious Millennium Tower in Downtown Crossing, to build one of the tallest buildings in Boston on the site of an unused city-owned parking garage on Devonshire Street.

Millennium Partners is now synonymous with Boston urban luxury living thanks to the quick-selling Millennium Tower and Millennium Place. Up next is the Winthrop Square project, a soaring 55-story tower with one-of-kind luxury residences, office space and a three-story great hall at street level that’s being billed as “Boston’s Living Room.” According to The Boston Globe, Millennium is hoping to start construction as soon as next summer. Considering what we’ve seen here in Boston so far from Millennium, we’re anticipating more stunning residential views and closer to the ground, a unique pedestrian experience like nothing else in the city.
